South Houston covers about three square miles of land. The 2020 census counted 16,153 people and 5,315 housing units. Most of the housing is detached single family homes. The city grew fast from the 1940s into the early 1960s.

Homes built before 1970 often have galvanized steel supply lines. Those pipes rust from the inside and cut your water pressure over time. We replace them with PEX in a whole house repipe. Cast iron drain lines from that era crack and back up, so we replace sewer lines too.
Bathrooms in these houses are usually small, with one bath for the whole home. We remodel them and can add a second bath where the layout allows. Water heaters in older homes are often past their service life, and we replace those. We also swap out old electrical panels that cannot carry a modern load.
